We were so lucky to have Montye come up for a week in August to visit with our family.
The kids absolutely adore him and love listening to all his stories.
One of the passions Deaven and Montye share is a love for guns and shooting. Grandpa helped him set up a good target and they had some fun shooting.
Montye also helped Will with some landscape lighting while he was here. He has so much knowledge about so many things.
One of the things we did while Montye was here was go swimming at the Tenino Rock Quarry. It's an old quarry, filled in with water and at parts it's over 100ft deep. There is still a full crane at the bottom of the pool.
Both the kids had fun off the diving boards.
It was such a great week with some many fun memories and talks. Will and Montye also got to sneak away for a few days and went to explore up the Olympic Peninsula. They had a great time!!
