(I should have put these into a slide show........sorry for the lengthy post)
This weather has been amazing and Will and I loved our hike so much last weekend that we took the whole family, plus our amazing friends John and Dea, up for another hike at Mt. Rainer.
The hike is Naches Peak Loop and is PERFECT for kids, with amazing views. It's a 5 mile hike with about 700 ft elevation gain. This was where we started. It took us about 3 hours.
The kids were awesome. Deaven walked the whole way with out any complaint. Peyton did all but about 5 minutes with out help.
Here are John and Dea, who Deaven and Peyton love like family. We are kind of fond of them too!
The girls rode on top for just a few minutes.
Then we started to hit some amazing views of Mt. Rainer. It was absolutely gorgeous!! I could have been out there all day.

Can you even believe how lucky we are to be so close to something so beautiful?!
Lunch around a little mountain lake.
This is as little snow you ever will see on Mt. Rainer.
Love little Morgan peeking around the corner. She got a little rough about 1/2 through, but at last.........
.....she fell asleep.
Heading back down among the fields of blueberries. We ate a ton!
One last shot of the beautiful mountain.
And a trip to the mountain would not be complete with out snagging a rock for our landscaping!!
We had dinner at Copper Creek just outside of the park and then hit the Mt. Rainer Festival for a little music and to let the kids run around a bit. It was a wonderful day!! And next.........North Carolina to visit Dakota and Charlotte (my brother and sister-in-law) and their three kids!! I will put those pics in a slide show for sure!
