New Fall Tradition

Well, we definetely found a new fall tradition!! About 10 miles (or about 20-30 miutes) from the Lake House, my Dad found a 492ft tall Steel Bridge. So Friday afternoon, we headed off with a box of wood pieces and two large pumpkins (thanks to John and Dea). The kids were amazed.....at least the ones we let out on the bridge (Morgan was left behind to hold down the car). We chucked some wood off the side, attempting to hit the small river at the bottom (which wasn't easy, factoring the wind) and then would watch it float away. But then, it was pumpkin time. We dropped the first pumpkin (which fell twice as fast as the wood...maybe took about 5 second to hit bottom), and aimed for the rocks to the side of the river. When it hit, we were all shocked to hear the LOUD "KA-BOOM"!!! It was amazing!!! We definetely will make this a family tradition and once we came home to tell John and Dea what we had done, Dea promptly stated, "I'll plant more pumpkins"!
