Oregon Trip

We went to Oregon this past weekend to see some family and go see the Ronn Lucas Ventriloquist show.
The kids absolutely adore any time they get to spend with their uncles.
And like any good vacation, we had tons of hotel pool time and bed jumping!
Saturday night we headed to the historic Elsinore Theater (which is amazing in and of itself) for Ronn's show. Again, he is a family friend, but also one of the best in the world at what he does.
This was kind of a "birthday" thing, so Deaven got to bring his best buddy Korban along for the weekend (who just so happens to be about the most well mannered child ever created. Convenient for us).
Deaven was SUPER excited for the show.......and he didn't even know what was planned.......
Towards the end of the show, Ronn actually talked a bit about our family and then mentioned a time he was at our Izzy's in Everett when Deaven was about 9 months old. He had held him and promised to do a "show" for his fifth birthday. Well.....that didn't happen (not that it couldn't have, but I think we just all forgot). So Ronn, actually showed on the big screen the video of Deaven all little and cute in his arms (which I have at the end of this) and then asked Deaven to come down to the stage!!!
He brought Deaven down and had some fun with him. Deaven will never forget it. It was classic.
Speaking of classic. Gotta love late night in a hotel room with a bunch of boys! I love this picture.

Sunday pictures are all blurry due to a camera issue (insert frustration here), but nonetheless......
We went to church with my family and then hung around the house and had dinner. Very relaxing and nice day.
Taylor loves our children almost as much as we do.......and we love Uncle Taylor.
The boys couldn't believe Ronn was coming over to "hang out" with us at the house.

It was a fantastic weekend! Lots of memories, lots of laughs. Nothing like being around the dining room table with your DNA. Love it!
