November's Tournament

Okay, it's time to get back to blogging. I have been TERRIBLE about taking pictures. Even the following ones are not mine.

November was busy with annual Racquetball Tournament, which again brought in the Women's Pro Tour to our town. It was incredible start to finish.

Here, Rhonda Rajsich, #1 in the World, is showing the kids how to spin a basketball on her finger. Rhonda actually passed up a career with the WNBA to play Pro Racquetball.
Thursday night we pull our Top Sponsors and pair them up with the Top 8 Pro players to play some fun doubles. It was pretty entertaining!!
Rhonda also took an hour to play with the kids. We had the kids roll a dice to chose her "handicap". Instead of using her racquet, she had to use her own shoe, or a 2-liter bottle, or a cereal box. It was HYSTERICAL!!
I won my first round in the Pro draw, which fed me into actually PLAYING Rhonda ( like for reals) Friday night. It was pretty intense and I felt like I put up a pretty good fight. I just tried not to look at her or the 100+ people watching behind the court.

Yep, that's Rhonda hitting a between the legs shot during our match!!
Paola and Rhonda were in the finals and Paola came out on top. The match was GREAT!!

During the Sponsor Doubles, Will actually got paired up with Paola as his partner. They won that little event. :)

So........the sad story is that even though I hadn't been taking pictures much......both our video camera and photo cameras got stolen during the tourney. So the few pics I had of a GREAT VISIT we had with Grandma Carol Hayes got lost forever. :(

Since the tourney, we have been enjoying lots of family time and preparing for Christmas. I love December!!

I'm going to do my best to get back into blogging (if anyone even still reads this!!).

Happy December!!
