We had a super fun New Year's Eve this year. We joined with the Mahoney's and had dinner, then did a bunch of fun activities. We had SO MUCH FUN!!
(Left this pic out from our Christmas blog post. We had an Elf on the Shelf this year, named Alfy. It certainly helped Morgan behave a bit more, since she knew he would fly home to Santa every night and report on her behavior. It was fun seeing where he showed up each morning).
Dennese brought balloons for the kids to pop at certainly intervals that would tell us what to do next. Our activities for New Years Eve party. (Notice we celebrated Eastern Standard Time...why suffer with young kids??)
5:30: Dinner
6:30: Family Game (Telestrations)
7:00: Dance Party (despite what the video above shows, ALL the adults we dancing!!)
7:30: Hidden lucky marble in the cake (Malorie found it and has luck coming her way in 2013)
8:00: 2012 Reflection and we shared our favorite thing about each family member
8:30: The kids wrote their 2013 wish on a helium balloon that we then released in the sky.
9:00: Sparkling Cider toast and hugs....and some fireworks!!
Happy New Year!!! We are so excited for 2013 and have tons of fun plans in store.
