Life in the NEW HOUSE

We officially moved on Friday, May 24th. We have truly loved this place since the moment we walked in. Though it was hard work to move, we just kept walking around the house and yard (even now) saying, "How did we get so lucky???". It's not that it's some home from the Street of Dreams, but it's just so RIGHT for our family and we have felt the Lord's hand in our lives making this come together for us. He was truly in it all. They way we found this house. They way our old house received 3 offers in the first week. The way the financing lined up. The smooth transition. We have been so blessed. While I have lots of fun pics of our new place, I can't seem to get my camera to transfer right now (ahh!!!) so here is just a quick update with some random pics I had on my phone.
Morgan gave her first talk in Primary all by herself last week.  I helped her write it, but she is an amazingly good reader and she just got up there and spouted it off.  We were super proud!
Both girls are finishing up with several months of dance (hip-hop, jazz and tap).  They have a recital next weekend but here is Peyton coming home from pictures.

Deaven and Odie are buds.  They can't live with out each other.  Deaven begs for Odie to sleep with him every night and this is what I find every morning. :)
So, we have been making a few trips to Target and Lowes since we moved in.  This house is only about 600 sq ft. bigger but I've also made a few attempts to get things a bit more organized.  You might be moving if your Target cart looks like this.
Besides painting a bunch in the house, we have been mostly working outside.  There is a huge forest behind our house, but it was totally walled up with over growth, where you couldn't really see back into it.  We have spent hours thinning things out, limbing things up and laying some trails.  It's hard to see how big this area is, but the ladder in the picture is at almost full extension and it looks tiny.  There is about an 1/2 acre of forest behind our yard.

We are working really hard for another week (putting in carpet, kitchen back splash and lighting, and many other landscaping projects) and then we are taking off for camping in Lake Chelan!!  Yay for summer!!
