Written by Will: For years I have wanted to climb Mt. Olympus in the Olympic National Park. And this year I made it happen. I joined Mountain Madness a Mt. Guide company who does guided trips on peaks all throughout the World. I went with six other strangers from all over including Toronto, Ohio, Iowa, and Seattle. The trip was very fun and the people I went with were very easy to get along with. We hiked for five days. The summit day started at 2am and we did not get back to camp until 8:30 pm, so quite a long day. And the last day was a long 18 miles day out. Overall, I had a great time and I feel good I accomplished something that has long been on my list.
