We decided to spend Mother's Day down in Oregon and on the way down, we stayed at two beach towns. It was such a fun few days just hanging out together away from all our normal responsibilities.
The first night on the beach was windy and cold, but we walked right up on a bald eagle perched, only a few feet from us. We watched him fly away.
Odie loves to go for car rides.
We stayed at a fun little hotel and watched Cheaper By the Dozen.
The next day we down further south to stay the night in Seaside, OR. The weather was gorgeous on that day and we visited a bunch of parks and military bases.
Deaven and Peyton also rode the Seaside shark, which is like riding "The Bull". They both got thrown off A LOT and Morgan was only allowed to take her picture on there.
We stopped at a few beaches and the weather was really nice!!
Poor Will was still in his walking boot.......
Morgan's classroom stuffed animal (Skippy) came along for the trip too!
We also stopped at the Tillimook Cheese Factory and did the tour.
The kids loved playing on the sand dunes and the view of Haystack Rock was cool.
We finally made it all the way down to Salem and hooked up with Dad, Mom and Taylor's family, too.
It was great to spend time with family on Mother's Day.
It was such a fun trip! Odie loved the beach the best. ;) Happy Mother's Day!!
