May 24th marked our year anniversary of living in our new home. We have continually talked about how incredibly grateful we are for this place. It was such an act of God that brought us to this place and we find so much joy in living here and raising a family here. Every single morning, I walk to the window and am filled with joy as I look outside. Truly, God is good.
To celebrate, we lit a bunch of Chinese lanterns and sent them off. Of course, it typical Hayes fashion, our first one flew directly into our neighbors tree!! Luckily, we had Jamee Mahoney here, who is a firefighter, who seemed completely unconcerned. It just burned out and dropped down with a few good laughs. It was a fun night!
