Grandpa Cusworth's Funeral (Robert Cusworth)

In December, I got the call that my Grandpa Cusworth had passed away.  He had always been very involved in my life and even into my married life I had seen him at least once a year.  While it's hard to be sad when someone passes away at 93, it's still very emotional.  This was actually the first person that I've know to pass that had such a strong testimony of the gospel and had lived such a devoted life to it.  I think thinking of him be "rewarded" for that now is what brought me to tears so often.
The night I found out, I was actually suppose to play a piano solo at the ward Christmas party.  I felt so overcome with emotion that I wasn't sure I could do it BUT my Grandfather was a huge reason I took up the piano, so I tried to be brave.  I was literally shaking but I did end up playing very beautifully.
Will and I flew down for the funeral on a Saturday morning and literally flew back that night.  It was still a great time with so much family.  Seeing my Grandma was a special treat, too.

Will helped with the casket, after we had participated in a viewing and family prayer.  Seeing Grandpa in his temple clothes was incredibly touching.

Will giving Grandma a hug after the services.

You can tell there has been some crying done........
Me and my sweet Grandma.  Oh, how I love this woman!
One of my favorite pictures of Grandma and Grandpa.
Spending the afternoon with my cousins was wonderful.  They are all so amazing.

Will visiting with Jana after lunch.

The joke of the day was that the car rental did not have our car ready on time and we were cutting it close to the funeral time already.  They ended up having to give us a brand new (8 miles on it) Mustang.  Hahaha!  Will had some fun with that.
