Peyton was SO EXCITED to attend Aspire so she could be part of the performing arts programs. Her first show was Charles Dickens, The Christmas Carol, and she was one of only two 6th graders that got a part. She played Fan, Scrooge's sister when they were young. She did a great job!
Overall, we were so impressed with the entire cast. They memorized all the dialog in original Dicken's writing, which is NOT easy.
Peyton got to spend time with some fun friends outside of school and learned some great things that will help her in future parts.
Mrs. Traber, on the left (Drama) and Ms. Lewinski (Choir) on the right, are both important teachers for Peyton. I am so grateful for both of them and the influence they are having in Peyton's life.
I think the next play is the musical, Oliver.
