Girls, girls, girls

So our crazy life the last little while continues, but we found time today to have some friends over, Malorie and Kelton. Let's just say it's the first time is DAYS Morgan has gone longer than 1 hour with out crying.
We got our new camera, and I am finally working on LEARNING it. Nikon Coolpix S630. We are loving it so far.
Morgan. It has been a really rough couple of days with her. Our ONE saving grace (besides popsicles) is her car seat. She loves it and will sit content for hours, with or with out a movie playing. This is her strapped in IN the garage while I take a Mommy Time Out.
Peyton in full pose mode. She is really becoming an awesome kid. So helpful and sweet. It gives us hope for Morgan.
We have been loving the nice days lately. The girls had a picnic lunch out in the tree fort the other day, and today we headed out to the lake house for the first time this spring to do some yard work. Love it there. So peaceful.

Okay, better head to bed. I have a lot to ask forgiveness for tonight.
  1. Walking my child so quickly to time out her little feet could hardly keep up.
  2. Not making TOO much effort to "softly" comb out the tangles of a sassy girl's hair getting ready for school.
  3. Only listening to my child with 50% focus. I hate it when people do that to me.
  4. Not responding immediately to my husband's request for emotional support.
Tomorrows a new day, right?

Love your girls! super cute. I love the pic with her in that car seat... priceless. My list for forgiveness is much longer than yours :-)

Hi! I just caught up on your blog after awhile, and holy cow! You've all been busy. I hope Morgan can get some respite from feeling bad and all the other craziness gets sorted out :) We should plan some type of summer outing - meet in Seattle or something. see ya.

Loving these photos!! Those blue eyes...how DO you say no to them? :) (I know, same as us...lots of practice.)
