We had a great, mellow Thanksgiving Weekend. The holiday that never ends. I love that. We did some serious chillin', puzzle doing, movie watching and um, some eating.
However, with the restaurant being closed on Thanksgiving, we did take a few hours in the afternoon to go down and work on the remodel a bit. The remodel is slowly moving forward and we hope to be done close to the first of the year.
We went out to the cabin on Friday and stayed the night. Gotta love the down time at the cabin. Deaven always gets engrossed in the fun books we have out there.
My Dad brought up my old Casio Keyboard, which the girls LOVED.
Nothing better than seeing Grandpa siting on the bay window, over looking the lake, talking with his three grand kids.
A Lake friend, Dana Anderson, came to visit. He is one of those guys that has some incredible stories to tell and has hobbies that amaze you. He collects these amazing necklaces made of old Indian trading beads, mixed with bear claws and old trading coins. Each necklace was worth anywhere from $1000-$3000 each.
Then he made an arrow head for Deaven.
This picture of Morgan and Kelton was from last week, and you just gotta love their cuteness. Shouldn't they be in a Disney movie or something??
While we were at Izzy's working on Thanksgiving, the kids made their own fun. The girls were dancing around on the new tile floor (note: Morgan nearly naked. You pick your battles.)Hope you all had a great weekend!!
