One of our Bucket List items was for Peyton to climb and summit Mt. Ellinor. We found a free Saturday and ditched Morgan (she was super happy about that, seriously) and headed up the trail.

Me decided to climb up the Chute, which is less of a trail and more of rock scrambled, which the kids LOVED.
Deaven has submitted Mt. Ellinor before, but it was actually when it was covered in snow.
There was just a little bit of snow left but nothing we couldn't work with in our regular shoes.
One time when Will and I climbed Ellinor, we shot this picture but with me under the rock. I decided we needed one of each of the kids, too.

The weather couldn't have been more perfect. Blue skies the whole time and gorgeous views.
Earlier in the morning, there were a few clouds still burning off but the kids loved actually seeing that they were ABOVE them.
Near the top we had just a bit more snow to cover.

We walked the summer route down and the views of Rainer and Lake Cushman were awesome.
This actually at the bottom cleaning off in a waterfall. Pretty cold water!!
We are making head way on our Bucket list. It's been a fun way to fill our summer with small and fun goals for each of our family members. It's helped that the weather has been amazing, too!
