Odie is terrified of the vacuum. He will go running for protection to the first person he can find and it's kind of cute.
We had a family home evening at the beginning of this year, introducing the kids to things Will and I want to focus on this year as a family. Being a little more financially wise as a family and also looking for opportunities to serve more often. Through out the year, when we have done something specific in one of these areas, we will write it on a slip of paper and place it in the jar. At the end of the year, we will take the time to look back at all the small and simple things we've done, that hopefully have had lasting results. After lots of discussion, Peyton has chosen to step away from the Viola and focus more on her singing and piano. She really loves those two instruments and had lost her passion for the piano. While we really want our kids to be musical, we don't really care WHAT instrument it is, so we are supporting her choice. She's a great girl and is doing wonderful things with her life.
