There is Hope!!

Last night, I watched the CNN special Heroes, which featured 10 people that have contributed to Humanitarian needs in incredible ways over the past year. In a world that spends much of it's time critiquing peoples outfits and tracking people's love lives, it was so refreshing to watch 2 hours of non-stop hope, courage and Christ-like love being demonstrated by everyday people. They are airing it several more times this weekend and I'd recommend watching it if you get the chance.

The tournament went really well. Ben Croft (the #9 in the world) ended up beating out Jimmy Lowe (a legend from Hawaii) in the final.
One of the greatest things about running this event is bringing in INCREDIBLE racquetball to our little home town club.
Washington Women's Racquetball was working hard to raise funds through out the weekend to bring in the Professional Women next year, and we raised over $800!!
Then there is Deaven, who dressed up as Thomas Jefferson for a scout activity. Yes, that is a diaper on his head. When he was 3 (seriously) he took one of Peyton's diapers and put it on, announcing he was George Washington (he never ceases to amaze me). This was the first time he was legitimately able to dress up with a diaper though.
