Mariner's and Misc.

After recovering from our Hood climb, we had a great week (last week of school!). Sorry about the picture above, but that just CRACKS me up to see a butt crack THROUGH the diaper.
Peyton has made really good friends with Lisha this year and unfortunately, Lisha is moving to China for the next school year........but she'll be back. They are going to try to be pen pals.
Just a little girl play time. It's almost impossible to get a real smile out of Morgan right now.

This week, Deaven was awarded his Religious Knot for scouting, which was a great honor for him. He loves scouts and has a great group of boys to move through the ranks with.
We also hit Reptile Man this week in the park. This is the fourth time we have seen his little show, and we always enjoy it.

He had LOTS of animals to show with lots of fun info about them.
I was pretty impressed that every time he ask a question of the audience, Deaven would yell the correct answer out every time. He's a smart kid and his retention is something I envy.
Then the BIG deal of our week was on Thursday when we headed up to the airport to pick up Grandma Hayes for a visit!!!
Straight from the airport, we went to the Mariner's Game. Carol was a trooper!

We got there early, so we walked around and watch the warm ups a bit. It was really nice to be early and not in a rush.

We had left Morgan at a friends and it TOTALLY changed the dynamic. It was so mellow. No diaper bag, no tantrums. It was kind of nice.
We had some pretty great seats. Up a little high, but RIGHT behind home plate.
Peyton sang and danced the whole time. She loved the music.
Mixed in with a little popcorn and cotton candy. Hey, if you are gonna do the game, you gotta do it right!
The weather was great too.
Deaven's favorite player happened to be pitching, Felix Hernandez.
This was shown up on the big screen during the game, and I thought it was pretty cool. Definitely have a little more respect for this man.
It was a great afternoon.

This is just a quick video of Deaven at Reptile Man. There are some rocks to play on and Deaven had all the older boys impressed that he was jumping off the top of them. I don't know about you, but it hurt my knees just watching him.
