Will and I are leaving this morning to sneak in a quick overnighter backpacking trip into the Alpine Lakes Wilderness Area. Just a little trial run for our bigger trip in August for our anniversary. Super excited!! Kind of need a break from the kids......if you know what I mean.(I actually offered a BONUS to our sitter if she could get Morgan to pee in the toilet. This child has got to be the most stubborn one, EVER!!)

Simply jealous. Not a good trait, but it does evoke the emotion to motivate me to get out in the wilderness again. Great photos! Thanks so much! Somehow the contrast between successfully managing your steps throughout the miles of rocky terrain with a large backpack... and returning to "reality" at the house with Deaven crashing down the stairs with the potty seat says it all.
