Happy 4th of July!

Thanks to Barrett and Brandi, we got had some Fourth of July fun at their lake house this year.
We were lucky enough to spend some time with some of our closest friends on Saturday. The weather wasn't perfect, but it didn't rain (which is always a bonus around here).
A cloudy ski was not going to stop all the kids from inner-tubing!!
Oh wait.......there's the sunshine!!
One of the kids was celebrating a birthday, complete with bright red frosted cup cakes. Didn't take Deaven long to figure out what to do with that!
All day long the kids worked on their "project". Not totally sure what it was, but they spent HOURS on it.
Meanwhile, all the Mom's laid out on a blanket and jumped from a million different topics, giggling all the time. We were hoping to enjoy some sunshine.........but it wasn't happening.

The boys got creative on rolling down the grass hill as the night went on. I thought this was pretty cute.

Well, by Tuesday the sun is suppose to roll in and the week is going to be in the mid to high 80's. Absolutely perfect timing for our camping trip on Orcas Island. We are very, very excited. I'm sure we'll have lots of pictures to post when we get back! Have a great week!~
