Motherhood is Where It's At

Today was a normal day to begin with. Getting the kids out the door for school, packing for the day's activities, carefully monitoring the newly potty trained child, getting snacks, emailing teachers, finding peanut butter smeared across the shirt I JUST put on, cleaning up the room I JUST cleaned, fishing a toy out of the toilet, reclaiming my lip gloss for the thousandth time......you all know the drill.

Then somewhere in the middle of it all, the Lord found me and whispered to my heart, "Of all the things you could be doing with your life, you are doing exactly what I'd hoped you would do. Being a mother".

......and it's been a great day ever since.
