Valentine's at the Hayes House

We had a wonderful few days celebrating Valentine's Day around here.  There are a few holidays I hate (Halloween, St. Patrick's Day, etc) but I LOVE Valentine's Day.  When the kids woke up in the morning, Deaven had made the girls some origami things.
I had also left little love notes on the mirrors for everyone.
Will had totally shocked me earlier in the week with a wedding ring upgrade (something we had been talking about for a few years).
Will got the girls roses, too.  :)

When Peyton was getting ready for school in the morning, she said, "Oh, this house is so full of happiness"!!  Can you ask for anything better to hear from your kid?

Of course, everyone had a great day at school with all their fun parties.

When the girls got home from dance, Will and I treated the kids to a fancy dinner at home, complete with menus, music, candles and a 3 course meal.  When Morgan turned the corner and saw the set up, she gasped and was so excited!!
The kid's menus were set up so that they didn't know for sure what they were ordering....and when....but eventually they had a complete "breakfast" dinner served to them.  It was called The Crazy Cupid Cafe and all they had to order from their menu was things like #1Smoochin', #2 Huggin', etc.
The french toast came heart shaped, but more importantly, with whipped cream.
We had super fun taking care of these guys (while we got to eat together in the kitchen....a tad romantic as well).
After dinner, we played a bunch of Minute to Win It games, with a Valentine's Day theme.
Will and Peyton are playing Stack the Hearts here.
Deaven right after he finished the Pink Mummy.....feeling a little dizzy.  Morgan loved the marshmallow toss game. :)

A quick shot of the two crazy love birds who created this crazy family!!

After we spent Thursday loving on the kids, Will and I spent Friday together all day.  We played some Racquetball in the morning, then got side by side massages after lunch.  In the evening, we got to hang out with some awesome friends and do a fun group date.
At 5:00, I handed an envelope to Will that instructed him to go pick up another guy, and then another......and another.  Once all the husbands were all together, they opened this note that gave them a Photo Scavenger Hunt list that they needed to complete before grabbing dessert and coming home.  While they were out, all the wives came to our house to put together a nice, home cooked, candle-lit dinner.

So.....we knew the guys would have some fun hanging out together, shooting pictures for this list.  Apparently, by the time they got done at Target, they had a following of people, watching them, lol!  In the above pic, they are holding something alive that's not human.
Below, they are holding their favorite candy bars.

We laughed pretty hard at the last two pics.  Barrett striking his Ballet pose (completely unaware of the "Now Showing" sign behind him).  And Will and Andrew trying to capture a chest bump mid-air (Andrew looks HUGE and Will looks so little!!).

We were hanging out with the Bairs, the Burbidges and the Kramers.
The boys offered to clean up the kitchen after dinner and we all laughed and laughed at this picture that I caught of Jeff giving Will and nice pat on the back.....so funny looking!!
So fun to share some fun with good friends!!  We are blessed to have many, many great friends in our life.
And my sweet Bonnie is ALMOST ready to have a baby!!  Only a few more weeks to I'll have a new baby to hold!  :)
