A few days after Christmas, we had planned to go with a few families sledding up in the mountains, but there has just been no snow. We all still wanted to do something with the kids so we decided to take them up to an Orienteering park and helped some of the boys get that signed off for scouts.
Deaven using the compass and map to direct us around the park.
Lots of little sisters in tow for the event. It was a family affair!
With just our 4 families, we had quite the crowd to navigate around.
Morgan doing her best to pitch in.
Some of the forest we walked through was super pretty.
All the kids running around at the park's historical landmark. After trekking around for quite some distance, clearly they still had enough energy for this.
All the Mama's hanging out together.
After the course, we just picnicked at the playground and let the kids play. It was a great, relaxing day that also helped Deaven move forward with his Scouting program. Always grateful for that.
