The boys did it! They climbed Mt. Hood Thursday night. Will climbed with his buddy Jamee (on the left) and Jamee's brother Ben (in the middle). They came back with some pretty incredible stories and a few intense experiences, but they came back safe!
Mt. Hood is the first of a series of climbs they plan to do leading up to Mt. Rainer in July. I am so excited for Will to be getting to climb this year, and especially with the guys he is teaming with.
Jamee is sending over some better pictures, but here are just a few. This is Will and Jamee just before they start the climb.
Love those up-close, self taken, helmet shots!
And this is when they got home......exhausted! Jamee is a fire fighter, so he is some what use to missing a night of sleep. Will, not so much. He was pretty trashed, but bounced back quickly on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Peyton had her best friend Malorie (Jamee's daughter) over for a sleep over. These girls are just so fun to watch. And scary. Sometimes, I fear their teenage years already.Since Dad was feeling so good after some rest, we loaded up Saturday afternoon and headed to the Lake house to hang out with my Dad, the Friess Family and the Harmon family (which I neglected to get any pictures of....whoops!).
The girls is the car, ready to go!
Will and my Dad swapping Mt. Hood climb stories. Can't beat 75 degree on the end of the dock!
This is Solo heaven. We love taking him out to the lake.
And speaking of Heaven.....my Dad LOVES to have a good time. You know whole saying, "Work Hard, Play Hard"? That is like the 11th commandment to my Dad. He loves to have a good time, which we are grateful for!
We also started teaching Deaven how to drive the boat this trip. How fun to have your kids grow up at the Lake!!?? We are so blessed!
