Uncle Ronn came for a visit!

So about 10-12 years ago, my day had a chance meeting with Ronn Lucas, the world's best ventriloquist (no, that's not me giving him that title. He's actually earned that title). Ever since, he has been a dear family friend, though we haven't seen much of him with his running show in Las Vegas over the past several years. Ronn, is just amazing. His talent is incredible and he is the NICEST, most kind-hearted person you will ever meet.

So long story short, while we were in California, he was actually up here performing for the week in Tacoma. Work out nicely for him to just stay in our empty house and he took care of Solo for us. However, he was suppose to head back to LA before we got home, which was such a bummer. Then he had a bunch of car issues and low and behold, he got to come back and stay with us last night. The kids were SO excited!!
Ronn has been around for years and has won competitions over people like Jerry Seinfeld and Eddie Murphy!!! Can you believe that!? His talent is incredible. We were watching American Idol and he was just name dropping all these incredible people he has met and performed for (like almost all the living Presidents and a zillion other famous people).

What we REALLY love about Ronn though is how special he makes the kids feel. He really connects with them and shows them all his little secrets. We are super excited because after performing in Tacoma, he was immediately booked to come up to Oregon to perform a one night show in July. You better believe we will be there!

The first video is from WAY back when Ronn performed on the Smothers Brothers Show.
****Don't forget to MUTE my player up top****
The second video is just Ronn messing around with us last night before the kids went to bed.

We love you Ronn! Can't wait to see you in July!

PS-Will is climbing Mt. Hood tonight!!! Awesome pictures to come for sure!
