Okay, first of all, I LOVE these little people!! We are so blessed with these kids. We just love hanging out with them!We had a great weekend, which was much needed after a kind of long week at work for both of us. Friday, Morgan and I went with Peyton's school class on a field trip to the beach. Picture below is for Peyton's benefit later on......
I got to walk the beach, flipping over rocks looking for crabs with Peyton and two of her school friends, Ashley and Natalie. They were so fun and SO IMPRESSED with the smallest of crabs.
We had a great time, and Morgan LOVED it. Okay, maybe she just loved hanging out with a bunch of 5 year old girls.
Just a few of the little critters we got to watch. There were literally THOUSANDS on this particular beach during low tide.
Saturday was an awesome day, that went totally undocumented picture wise. We left the kids with their favorite baby sitter, Rebekah, and went with some friends up to the Temple in Seattle to participate in a wedding/sealing of some friends. As I've mentioned before, in our religion, we believe it's not 'death till you part', but 'for time and all eternity', and so it was wonderful to watch this sweet family get those precious blessings and promises. It was great. Then we went out to dinner to P.F. Changs with lots of friends. Love that place and LOVE Chinese food!! Once we got home, we took the kids to play in the park, then hit DQ on the way home....and then had a little family water fight in the front yard. Kids in bed by 9pm......It was a great day.Sunday, after church, we went to one of the trails we love in Olympia, McLane Creek Nature Trail. It's just a short 1.5 mile loop, but it's beautiful.

Don't ask me why Will and I look like midget people in this picture.....
We love the little, quiet steams, trickling through the forrest. In the fall, the Salmon spawn through this creek, and it's INCREDIBLE to watch!
Morgan loved all the bridges and walkways to walk on.
The kids loved to play on the crazy root formations. There are some BEAUTIFUL trees in this forest.
And Deaven spotted a turtle hanging out on a log. He was pretty big!
The walkways start out really big and wheel chair friendly, but parts of the forrest have smaller boards, like below. Morgan wasn't too sure about the gap between the boards, as you see in the video below......We couldn't stop laughing at her funny walk.

What an utterly perfect time! here's to kids who love to catch crabs...I feel so sorry for those little ones who are too afraid; they totally miss out!
I do miss those beach trips, Dakota kept asking me to show him the crab picture.
That forest is beautiful & Morgan's walk is hysterical. You have such a cute family.
Looks like an awesome trail. We'll have to try that one out sometime.
