Peyton Turns 6 & Scout Camp!

Deaven got to go to his first scout camp the past three days and yesterday I got to go as his leader. We had the best group of 14 boys! We had such fun doing chants and going to all the activities.
Here we are making home made ice cream.
And a little archery.
Of course we had the BB Gun area which the boys loved.
Then after lunch the camp brought in a K-9 unit to talk to us about how they use their dogs in the field and such. It was pretty cool.
The dogs were very impressive for sure.
Below, you see the dog having sped up to the man to attack him, but his "daddy" called him off at the last minute because the bad guy "gave up" and the dog just sped around the outside of the guy and ran back instead of attacking. It was pretty cool!

This noodle joust was one of the favorites....believe it or not.
And Deaven's favorite was making this little "loot bag".
It was a good day and we are about to head back to do the family BBQ and watch the egg catch, where they drop eggs 80 ft and the boys have to figure out how to catch them with out them breaking. Should be interesting.......

But the BIG news in town is that Peyton turns 6 tomorrow!! What a big girl!
So last night we took a few of her friends to Charlie's Safari for some girl time. Peyton loved every minute of it.

Above is Ashley, Peyton, Natalie and Malorie. Peyton just adores these girls!
And as parents, we love them too. They are sweethearts! Makes me really grateful that at least at this time, Peyton has some good friends that love her and encourage her to be a good little girl!

Happy Birthday Peyton!! We love you so much! We are kind of partying all weekend.....so more pictures to come.

Wow, full weekend. Deaven is getting so big!

This past Easter, Jenson shot Mady with a BB gun. Really. It went in so deep, two surgeons said they couldn't remove it because of the possibility she might not walk again!! It'll make for a good story when they're older. Actually, it made for good stories that same day.

Kseton has that same pee-ing dog Barbie set.

Why does this whole comment sound so red-neck?
