Deaven and Will headed off last Friday for the Father-Son Camp out that is hosted by our church.
The church property is pretty cool and they got a good little game of baseball in.
Jamee and Korban....
Ryan, with Zack and Marshall.
Barrett with Cole.
Deaven playing catcher. When they woke up Saturday morning, it was WILL'S BIRTHDAY!!! So they headed back into town, we packed up, and headed to the lake for a little get-a-way. It was beautiful, 80+ degrees!!
The boys finding a dead salamander on the bottom of the lake.
John and Dea stopped by with their puppy Maddie.
Morgan playing with Bella. I couldn't believe Morgan was so okay with the cold water. I mean, it is MAY still!
Morgan and Kelton loving being up to 10pm around the campfire.
Korban and Deaven showing no signs of slowing down either.
Nothing like a nice evening at the lake! Happy Birthday to Will! We love you baby! You are the best Dad and Husband EVER! We are grateful for how hard you work to not only provide, but to be PRESENT in our lives. We love you!
In the morning, it was back to Salamander hunting. Don't worry. We have a strict "catch and release" policy.
There is a place about 300 yards from our lake house called Sandy Beach. It is behind the old railroad pilings and it is sandy and super shallow for a LONG ways out. It's a fun place to play for the kids.
Even the girls love the Salamanders.
We all enjoy the cabin in different ways. Morgan and Will love a little snooze time.
Peyton and Malorie can never get enough swimming time.
Kelton and Morgan like to spectate a lot from the bay window.
And Deaven and Korban love a few good water fights!I apparently love to dodge the camera while wearing a swimsuit! Whoops! Didn't mean to disappear.......I really was there. Just behind the camera!
Here is a quick video of the kids "Rafting" adventure at Sandy Beach. This particular dock had broken off during the storm and was floating near the shore. They had so much fun pulling each other around and giving "rides" to different areas of Sandy Beach. How much fun for the kids!
