The Price you pay for a Shower

There is nothing like a nice, long shower after a good work out. One problem.......you just know there will be a price to pay. 10 minutes is a lot of time for a curious 3 year old. This time, she chose to unload an entire shelf of books (mostly the Work and the Glory series), took off all the jackets and lined them up.
This was just moments before my shower (as if you couldn't tell that).....when she was working me over with her sweetness.
I just absolutely love watching my kids play together. It seems like more and more, their development stages are getting closer and they see to genuinely enjoy each other.
This pic is kind of a long story........but provided lots of laughs for a good hour.
Tonight, Peyton and I are having a Mommy-Daughter Date. We are having Chinese for dinner (Peyton and I's favorite) and then going to the Ballet. BYU's Fairies and Fantasies. We are three rows back from the stage!! We are so excited! It's been awhile since we've had some one on one time.

But she looks like she was lining the books up so carefully! :)

Hope you enjoyed your night out tonight!

At least she was organizing. My niece colored her cat with a sharpie. :)
Have fun on the mommy/daughter date. Sounds like fun!

I love the shot of your little one in the books. I am FINALLY past the stage where I have to be scared to come out of the shower to access the damage.
