Taylor, and his girlfriend Bobbie, came up Friday-Sunday for a visit. We had such a wonderful time with them. This was our first time meeting Bobbie and she is priceless! Beautiful inside and out, she added the sweetest spirit to our home.
Of course, my kids LOVE when Taylor comes and having a GIRL show up was just an added bonus. Morgan followed Bobbie around all weekend and asked her every few minutes, "What's your name"?
On Saturday, we went for another family hike (remember our goal of hiking 100 miles in 2010??). The weather has really been cooperating so far. We decided to hike Lower Lena Lake, a little north of Hoodsport.
It was beautiful and gave us lots of opportunity to chit-chat with each other. Once again, the kids were rock stars.
Very, very fun for me to have another WOMAN around!!
We arrived at Lena Lake, which was substantially more windy than the rest of the hike. Morgan walked around and told us all to put our hoods on.

Morgan was pretty stinking good. Well, how hard can it be to ride on Dad's back for 6 miles?? 
But once we hit our traditional burger and milk shake shop on the way home, Morgan crashed. It's so tough being three.
We got to spend most of Sunday together as well. It was such a blessing to have Taylor and Bobbie here.
We love you guys and hope to see you again soon!!
