Deaven has been fortunate to be involved with a great group of boys for scouting AND a fantastic leader (who also happens to be one of my dearest friends), Dennese Mahoney. Deaven is in Webelos now and the projects have definitely increased in intensity.

Deaven loves it and we hope he continues to stay active in the scout troop until he gets his Eagle Scout. We think it helps to create really well rounded boys.

Deaven and a few of his buddies checking out their latest awards they have received.

One of the recent projects to help earn their Engineering Pin was to create both a catapult and build a bridge that could bare weight over 18 inches.

The group starting to test their bridges with weight during a monthly Pack Meeting.

We are so grateful for the scouting program and for Dennese as his leader who puts in great efforts to keep the boys excited and learning. Thank you Dennese!!

Last week I also got to join up for some lunch with some of my Racquetball girlfriends. Of course, Morgan came and stole the show.......typical. I adore these girls and they are a huge part of my life........Dea and me on the top, Viv and Polly on the bottom.

Life is good. Really good. We feel so blessed.

I can't wait to get Thomas is Cub Scouts. He's not old enough yet, no hurry on that part. Did you know there's Boy Scouts in the Middle East? Mike drove past the camp every day! Well done on the catapult, very, very cool.
